Do you know that MANY LIBERATED and INDEPENDENT females STILL expect you to OPEN THE DOOR when their hands are QUITE CAPABLE of doing so for themselves?

In addition to that INSULT, MANY of them 1) won't make eye contact with you and 2) won't say thank you AFTER you have held the door open for them to enter BEFORE you.

[HERE ARE MY 3 BASIC RULES FOR OPENING OR HOLDING A DOOR OPEN]

These rules apply to males and females because you want to treat them EQUALLY.

1. Open door for ELDERLY, SMALL CHILDREN, PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED or ANYONE else who's carrying packages.

2. If you pass thru a door and a female is within a FEW STEPS BEHIND YOU, hold the door open IF SHE MAKES EYE CONTACT WITH YOU and ALLOW HER to reach for the door so she can HOLD THE DOOR open for herself as she passes thru AFTER YOU.

3. If you pass thru a door and a female is within a FEW STEPS BEHIND YOU, do not hold the door open IF SHE DOES NOT MAKE EYE CONTACT WITH YOU and simply let it close in her face. (REASON: MOST FEMALES don't think enough of you to look at least make eye contact when you are being CONSIDERATE to them so why think enough of her to hold the door for her to reach for it. Simple logic).

Call me RUDE or NO GENTLEMAN if you want but MY INTENT is to have females RESPOND in a CONSIDERATE MANNER if I hold the door open for them to reach for OR I will (and have MANY time) allowed the door to close in their face.
